It has a wide variety of products to cater for everything from a backyard shed to store the mower to deck boxes that offer storage for items such as pool toys while providing handy seats. Crafted from UV-resistant polypropylene, the Outstore range is built to cope with our harsh weather conditions. Unique Trenza technology ensures that the furniture will look like new for years — and you can forget about rust, fading or ongoing maintenance. The storage boxes allow you to stash items such as barbecue gear, shoes or toys on the back verandah for easy access without the mess. The storage sheds come with their own floor and some have additional features such as windows or shelving. They’re easily assembled and maintenance free. Butcher Block Conditioner has been very successful indeed and Howard Products has just introduced the Butcher Block and Cutting Board Oil. Butcher Block Conditioner is essentially for creating a beautiful, protective coating of carnauba wax to butcher blocks and wooden bowls as well as providing a bacteria-free surface. Howard Butcher Block and Cutting Board Oil is for applying a deeply penetrating wax-free mineral oil seasoning to chopping blocks and culinary equipment. This colourless, taste-free, aroma-free, wax-free, vitamin-E-rich, food-grade mineral oil is the serious cook’s choice when a product will be in direct contact with food. |

| Welcome to the BIG COUNTRY Collection. Renowned Australian artist Gemma Lynch-Memory has created this stunning new collection of artworks. Considered one of Australia’s most collectable and successful abstract landscape artists, her work infuses uniquely flavoured landscape compositions with the global appeal of abstract art. Gemma Lynch-Memory began painting when she was a child. Her country Australian upbringing contributes to the imagery you find in her work today. She has an inspired ability to create works of engaging beauty by combining strong conceptual elements with layers of paint to create rich textures, muted tones and an uncanny depth of space. From our oceans to our outback and our rivers to our deserts, Gemma Lynch-Memory’s paintings capture the spirit and character that lives in the heart of each of us. Her abstract landscapes are at times conceptual, always earthy and feature rich and vivid natural colours — from cool marine blues to fiery reds and ochres. Country icons such as rivers, deserts, wildflowers and even country letterboxes are transfused with occasional text and word definitions to express as much about our human condition as of the land we inhabit. In 2007, after finding a copy of an expedition diary in a second-hand bookshop, Gemma became the first person to retrace the outback journey of Australia’s first female explorer, Emily Caroline Creaghe. Inspired by the diary, the expedition was research for her emily:explorer national touring exhibition, which celebrated the incredible achievements of this little-known Australian woman. With more than 20 solo exhibitions behind her and sales totalling well over $2 million, Gemma Lynch-Memory has already achieved much in her career. There’s a constant demand for work from collectors both in Australia and overseas and her artworks grace the walls of some of Australia’s most beautiful and exclusive homes. Those looking to invest and purchase significant artwork for their home would do well to take note of this current collection of original artwork and limited-edition giclée prints. |
 | Original Lamp Shop View Website
| If you’re interested in the history of lamps from around the world, there’s much to see at The Original Lamp Shop, the only specialised original oil and kerosene lamp shop in the country, in Braidwood, NSW. The owner, Robert, is passionate about lamps and imports them from all over the globe. Ancient lighting was used in the early 19th century in North America. Lard and then whale oil were used before 1850, after which an illuminator called paraffin oil, also known as kerosene, was used. Kerosene was also known as coal oil, rock oil and lunar oil and was first drilled in Canada in 1858. Robert now uses a clean, non-smoking and non-smelling oil, so all the lamps in The Original Lamp Shop are ready to be used in your home — whether for parties, intimate dinners or even during a blackout. With many different styles of lamps to choose from, it’s worth visiting The Original Lamp Shop. |
