Hi great to see some letters have started...The blocks are so beautiful I went away in the caravan for the weekend and now have finished all four blocks and waiting patiently for the next magazine. I just love the colours they are so Fresh.Keep the feed back comimg it keeps us so inspired.....sorry you don't like needle turning ..I thought I would never do after the first time I learnt, but about six years later my friend showed me Robyn Pandoff's way, so I could do BREAST OF FRIENDS and it is so easy I am hooked on it, Well will go on with my other BOM and to wait for the next Homespun...Cheers

Hello, I also started the Bom.
I am living in Germany and it was very difficult to get the used fabrics.
But now the first block is done!

I'm really enjoying this BOM, with a few personal changes, as we all do! Just wondering if anyone else had any problems with the "tree of life" block? My tree didn't want to fit in the block, so I just adjusted it. Not really liking the needle turning, but am persisting with it. Also do not like/do machine stitching, so I have been doing HEAPs of blanket stitching. My girls are looking forward to the finished product to put in their "kids zone" room.

Hi everyone! This is the first time I have joined a forum but I just had to tell you how much I have been enjoying the mystery Block Of The Month! Its soooooo pretty. I am up to the current block by Monica Poole. It really has been a lovely project. To anyone that hasn't got up to the Tree of Life block yet, be careful, there has been a typing error! Dont cut out the background fabric to the size it says, read it through first. I think by memory its about an inch too small. Happy stitching to all. Leanne
